Based in Korea, ZEROtherm is a subsidiary of a company called APACK, who were formed back in 1999 and are market leader in heat-pipe technology based thermal solutions. Providing customised design and engineering in thermal solutions for companies such as Dell, Samsung and LG, APACK have a strong belief that R&D is the core to its business. The name ZEROTherm was thought of by APAK’s CEO, Dr Song. The idea of the butterfly design being to create a one-of-a-kind thermal solution that incorperates both excellent thermal design as well as being a symbolic “first flight” for the company.

Today we will look at ZEROTherm’s flag-ship, full copper cooler the BTF90 which also comes in a aluminium variant badged as the BTF80.
