Introduction

From video conferencing to creating the latest YouTube masterpiece, webcams are fast becoming a must-have computer accessory. Whilst webcams were once tarnished with a reputation for poor image quality and sluggish performance, the advent of new technology and broadband internet connections has helped to cast off these unwanted associations.
